Wahana Pronatural Indonesia

PT Wahana Pronatural Tbk is a limited liability company engaged in trade, development, industry, mining products trade, agriculture, printing, transportation, and services. Its main agricultural and marine commodities are dried seaweed, rice, and soybeans. Most of the seaweed is exported to China, other parts of Asia, and the Americas, while rice and soybeans are traded locally and inter-island. The company’s mining commodity is manganese ore (Mn).

Currently, the company plans to expand its trade in agricultural products to include coffee, and in mining commodities to include nickel and rock asphalt. Coffee is marketed both domestically and internationally by leveraging the company's existing networks. Nickel is planned for export, while rock asphalt will support the company’s expansion into general contracting. In the development sector, the company acts as a developer and general contractor.

As part of its diversification strategy and to enhance its core business activities, the company has begun producing confectionery under various brands and segments, including chewy candy, hard candy, snack candy, and gummy candy.

Sejarah Perusahaan

1979

Established under the name CV Phonix Mas, the company operated in the trade of agricultural and marine products. CV Phonix Mas began with inter-island local trade, which continued to grow over time.

1989

CV Phonix Mas began exporting its products and initiated the construction of a cashew nut processing factory.

1993

PT Golden Phoenix was established as the parent company of CV Phonix Mas under Deed No. 096. PT Golden Phoenix is engaged in processing seaweed into carrageenan (seaweed powder).

2000

The name change from PT Wahana Yuda Mandiri to PT Wahana Phonix Mandiri was formalized under Deed No. 44 dated January 31, 2000, before Notary Yonsah Minanda, SH.

2001

The listing of PT Wahana Phonix Mandiri’s shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange involved an initial public offering of 200,000,000 (two hundred million) shares with a nominal value of IDR 100 (one hundred rupiah) per share and an offering price of IDR 175 (one hundred seventy-five rupiah) per share.

2011

PT Wahana Phonix Mandiri carried out a business expansion by acquiring fixed assets in the form of a candy processing factory owned by PT Inasentra Unisatya, located in Bogor, West Java.

PT Wahana Phonix Mandiri also undertook a divestment by selling its shares in its subsidiary, PT Phonix Mas Persada, to improve its financial structure.

As of December 31, 2011, the company became an independent entity with its head office located at Bumi Mandiri Tower II, 4th Floor, Rooms 406–407, Jl. Panglima Sudirman 66–68, Surabaya.

2012

The name change from PT Wahana Phonix Mandiri to PT Wahana Pronatural Tbk was approved through a General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) based on the following considerations:

  1. The need to align the company’s name with its core business in agribusiness, particularly in agricultural and marine products, to better reflect its business activities.
  2. To inspire a renewed spirit among investors, business partners, and all employees.
  3. To establish a new and improved image for investors, banks, and other third parties, with the aim of jointly advancing the company toward a better future.
